Description

A PORTICO MANTEL CLOCK INLAID WOOD - FRANCE, 1850'S TO 1870'S;

rosewood inlaid case with fluted columns that hold the movement above the base. Brass trim and end plates on each column. Wood legs on base of clock look original to case. Glass dome and rosewood oval basement. White enamel round dial with black Roman numerals and hands.
Measures 235x125 mm, height 408 mm. Glass dome 348x215 mm, height 780 mm.. Item condition grading: **** good, the clock is in running, and striking condition.
