Dedication and handwritten signature.
We remember the actress from various films including "A woman destroyed" (1947), which earned her her first Oscar nomination. Based on the story by the writer Dorothy Parker, the film tells the story of an alcoholic woman, that was abandoned by a successful singer, who is trying to escape an alcohol addiction.
