A roman nicolo-agate intaglio mounted in an ancient silver ring. Hunter with prey.
intaglio 12 x 15 mm; ring internal size 17 x 21 mm; gr. 7,77
The naked character is facing to the right: with his left hand he is holding a prey (small antelope), with the right hand of weapons or hunting tools. Ground line. The border of the bezel is worked with a rosette motif.
2nd-3rd century AD.
