A roman carnelian agate intaglio. Bust of Janus.
17 x 20 x 4 mm
Two bearded heads joined at the base of the neck; a slight central line divides the neck and draped bust in two parts. Rare subject inspired from coins. Wear marks. Intaglio with generous dimensions.
