An oriental roman variegated agate seal. Bust of a bearded male character.
Diam. 8 x 3 mm
The figure is facing left and is characterized by a draped bust; Greek inscription in the field. Middle orient production. Attractive variety of polychrome agate, with pleasant bluish and brown tones. The bezel is pierced with a passing hole. Slight wear marks. Cf. Dalton, O.M.
